Report: Saints Free Agent goes one.

Another player has signed with the New Orleans Saints with the team in the free agency-ESPNS Jeremy Fowler from ESPN that LineBacker Willie Gay Jr. obliges a one-year contract with the Miami Dolphins. It is probably a minimum salary contract, but if Gay receives a similar payment day as what the saints gave him a year ago (in the range of 3.5 million US dollars), he could include the selection formula 2026.

Gay, 27, started eight of the 15 games in which he performed for New Orleans while dealing with some different injuries. While he only registered 28 duels (19 solo), he made some spray games with two sacks, two forced fiddles, two duels for losses and three passable controls. Gay was signed to compete with Pete Werner during the training camp and to excite Davis next to him and Demario when the saints carried out their 4: 3 basis defense.

But they rarely did this, but mainly worked on nickel and DIME staff. This became even more true when the pass deflection of the saints fell apart and head coach Dennis Allen all leaned on his defensive back to try to compensate, and the plan to become a gay on the field. Werner signed a long -term contract extension during the camp and gay spent more time on the side lines than expected. The 277 defensive snapshots that he played in New Orleans were the second lowest of his career and only 10 more than his annual annual amount at the Kansas City Chiefs (267). Obviously, he felt that Miami offers a better chance. Now the saints have to replace him.
