The 8 biggest bargains in the Free NFL agency: Bucs, chargers early winners

The majority of the large offers are only completed for a week in the NFL -free agency. There is now the opportunity to evaluate which teams got better and why. Did you throw money on the big names? Have you carefully issued? Strategically? Who played the game best?

To find out, you can start with who got the most for your money. There were some surprises at the other end of the spectrum for so many great contracts that teams have given, especially for broad recipients. Who went less or which offers age?

Let’s take a look at some of the best bargains from the free agency.

8. Titan Upper floor Kevin Zeitler: A year of 9 million US dollars ($ 8,745 million guaranteed)

The titans needed interior reinforcement aid and bad – especially if they design a rookie quarters back with number 1 as a whole. Even at an advanced age, Zeitler was the best options that made it to the free agency. He was also economical for the titans.

7. Leader OLB Haason Reddick: One year 14 million US dollars (guaranteed $ 12 million)

Last year was… strange for Reddick. He was the first to say this in his introductory press conference in Tampa. A new situation in an established changing room should be a recipe for success for both parties. Reddick is only a year from back-to-back Pro-Bowls while playing for the Philadelphia Eagles. He had 27 bags between 2022 and 2023.

When Tampa Bay can unlock The Reddick, and he plays next to the monsters who have the Bucs inside their defense line (namely Vita Vea and Calijah Kancey), then Reddick could easily return to the form as a double -digit cuffs. It would make its deal absolute peanuts compared to others. Otherwise, this one -year chance will not cost BUCs in the future.

6. Chargers RB Najee Harris: One year 5.25 million US dollars (all guaranteed)

In a surprising surprise, the chargers were on both JK Dobbins and Gus Edwards Walk in Free Agency. They did not always have health on their side, but it seemed that at least one of these players – probably dobbins – would have been retained for a system like Jim Harbaughs that runs the ball as well as he was.

Instead, La Harris brought his leadership to be (for now) and got him at the price. For a man who exceeded 1,000 rushing yards every year, he is in the league and how much the running back market has inflated last year, it could be theft to get your starter at this price.

5. Viking C Ryan Kelly: Two years, $ 18 million (9.25 million guaranteed)

It is enough to say that the Minnesota Vikings attached the trenches to the free agency. While their movements are not quite defensively as bargains and both Jonathan Allen and Javon Hargrave sign in rich contracts to lead Brian Flores defense at the front, they also made movements inside the offensive line, an evil weakness in the offensive of the past year. You already have one of the best tandems in which Christian Darrisaw and Brian O’Neill are healthy. Kelly can now anchor everything. Minnesota also brought security guards who wanted to bring fries, but he came at a prize.

Kelly is a signing that is overlooked, especially if you look at the value you receive. His pact really means a one -year contract with a potential after this coming season 2025. If you roll under the middle with JJ McCarthy, it is the right recipe for success to have a veteran in front of you. If you get a good year out of the 31-year-old Kelly, this deal would be worth the price.

4. Broncos LB Dre Greenlaw: Three years, USD 31.5 million (13.5 million guaranteed)

Denver’s line of defense and in general in general was the biggest and most pleasant surprise last season. It suffocated. Not to mention that it carried the Broncos with a rookie quarters back at the top into the playoffs. To keep a strength, they went out and signed Greenlaw to an extremely team -friendly deal that is flexible and very low in risk to a player with a history of injury.

Greenlaw only played two games last year, but recorded more than 120 duels in the two previous seasons, while she played 15 games in both campaigns. If the Broncos can get a healthy green run, they suddenly have an impressive interior backrotation for an already scary defense.

3 ..

Who knew that they only had to move the 6-foot 7 bectone to protect themselves and he would thrive? Let it leave it to the offensive line in Philadelphia despite a typical Tackle building for the offensive line -line trainer Jeff Stoutland to see where Becton’s characteristics would manifest. It brought him a new contract that Justin Herbert protected in sunny Los Angeles, where he should play between the right Tackle Joe Alt and next to Center Bradley Bozeman. The former is already a young star and the latter is an experienced veteran.

Becton now delivers the glue that should hold the interior for Herbie. It should also mean good things for the leisure collection Najee Harris in the back field.

2. Lion CB DJ Reed: Three years, $ 48 million (guaranteed 32 million US dollars)

It is no secret that the lions would go after the helper of the corner after their secondary depth had condemned them in the late season last year. But General Manager Brad Holmes did not let him ruthless. On average annual value, Reed now only proves the 26th place under the defensive back. It is an incredible value for a proven player who can not only be a starter from the outside for the Lions, but also spoke about mentoring in the second year Eck Terrion Arnold.

1. Buccaners WR Chris Godwin: Three years, 66 million US dollars (guaranteed $ 44 million)

I don’t think it is a question that the guy, who supposedly rejected $ 20 million more to stay at home, is the greatest bargain of the free agency. Godwin has an injury story, yes, but if he can return -he has an average of 87 receptions, 1,065 yards from 2019 to 2023 -, his average annual value of 22 million US dollars will be obtained compared to the 29 million US dollar AAV colleagues WR2 TEE HIGGINS from Cincinnati.

Before Godwin suffered a ankle last October last October, he was up to date almost 1,400 yards and 12 touchdowns. Holded Higgins all 17 games, he was up to date for almost 1,300 yards and 14 touchdowns. Both players remain in a familiar situation, but only Godwin gave the Bucs a discount in the hometown.
