This is the schedule for the tournament:
- Selection Sunday: 8 p.m. ET Sunday, March 16 on ESPN
- First four: March 19th to 20th
- First round: March 21 to March 22nd
- Second round: March 23 to March 24th
- Sweet 16: 28th to March 29th
- Elite eight: March 30th to March 31st
- Final Four: Friday, April 4 at 7 p.m. with the second semi -finals, starts 30 minutes after the first game. Both will be in the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida,
- NCAA championship game: Sunday, April 6th at 3 p.m. ET on ABC, organized in the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida
From 2023, the Sweet 16/Elite will take place at two locations per year, with eight teams participating in each location:
