Sioux City Musketeers secure a much-needed win – The Rink Live

The Sioux City Musketeers have endured a difficult stretch with a series of seven consecutive losses.

But things are looking better after a 3-2 win on Wednesday, November 26, 2024 over the Fargo Force at the Tyson Events Center.

Sioux City’s Justin Stupka scored the winning goal.

The first period was goalless and the Force took the lead early in the second period when Merril Steenari scored after assists from Peter Cisar and Finn Mclaughlin.

The Musketeers’ Jackson Crowder scored late to make it 1-1. Drake Murray assisted.

The Force made the final score 2-1 with a goal from Eero Butella.

With a minute left, Nicholas Sykora scored with an assist from Dallas Vieau and Jake Delaney to bring the score to 2-2.

Justin Stupka took the lead with a goal midway through the third period, assisted by Olivers Murnieks and Nikita Klepov.

On Friday, November 29, 2024, the Musketeers will host the Stampede at 3:05 p.m. CST at the Denny Sanford Premier Center and the Force will play the Lancers at 7:05 p.m. CST at Scheels Arena.
