Widespread rain, thunderstorms cover North -Xas into the weekend in northern texas

A first watchful weather day is on Friday due to the widespread rain in the forecast and some embedded thunderstorms.

The morning commuting on Friday will be wet, with scattered showers and smooth roads. Make sure the children grab umbrellas before going to school.

Storms were not serious from 4:30 a.m., but the visibility had dropped to two miles due to the rain. The heaviest rain fell in the counties Collin, Rockwall and Kaufman.

During the entire Friday, storms in the hills will move south to the north with heavy rain. Heavy storms are not expected.

On Friday evening, Rain will find Worth Metroplex east of the Dallas-Fort. The high temperature reaches 68 degrees, but until the weekend the temperatures return to the mid -1980s.
