Several injuries, including children after Minivan got into the crowd in Los Angeles

A minivan plowed in a lot of bystanders in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon and left several injuries – including two children and one teenager, according to the fire brigade of Los Angeles.

The incident took place shortly after 3 p.m. local time in the city center, the LAFD reported.

“A total of 9 patients were rated for injuries on site,” said the fire brigade in a statement. This included four adults who were taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, two adults who refused to treat, and three minors aged 8, 11 and 17, who were also transported for treatment.

The LAFD said that there were no deaths and no critical patients at the time of transport.

It also means that fire brigade companies were still on site, where the minivan “was broken under a collapsed terrace”.

Traffic officers initiated an investigation into why the van went into the terrace area. The Los Angeles police authority announced ABC News that there is no early signs that the collision is intended or criminal.

Later in the evening, the LAPD confirmed that it was not involved in alcohol or drugs. On the basis of statements, the police said that the driver after ABC News was appealed to avoid a stopped car and hit the barrier next to the restaurant.
