Max ‘best new show gets a perfect 100% critic.

While the top -class White Lotus ended this weekend on Max, the service has two large series that immediately stopped this week. Next Sunday the last of US season 2 will take this Sunday. But tomorrow? That is the return of hacks for season 4.

Once again, Hacks with a perfect 100% score of critics have shown itself. That may change, but also two more seasons have a full 100%, with only season 3 of 98%. In this entire four season run there is only one negative assessment of hacks in this entire four -season run. If you are not familiar with the series, here is the summary:

“Deborah Vance, a legendary stand-up comedian in Las Vegas, has to reinvent your aging act so as not to lose your residence in the Palmetto Casino. To take more risks and Deborah, AVA helps to cope with your personal problems.”

The show is not only of critics, but also from fans who gave it an outstanding 8.2/10-IMDB with 50,000 reviews and a 90% audience for Rotten tomatoes. It may not be one of the highest profileries out there, but it was recognized by the dozens of Emmys. Hacks was nominated for 48 Emmys in three seasons and won nine, including the best actress for Jean Smart, the best comedy series and the best writing for a comedy series.

Unnecessary to mention that it is probably one of the funniest shows on TV, and I would set it up along with other series such as the shrinking of Apple TV and the studio, which has just started its first season with enthusiastic reviews. There is no indication that season 4 will be the last season for hacks, since it is an inexpensive show for Max and WB that attracted a lot of prestige praise for the service. As long as everyone involved wants to continue it, it will continue.

The broadcast plan here is a bit strange. Hacks will fall a two-episode premiere tomorrow, Thursday, April 10th, which are air for any reason until episode 7 and 8 for any reason, then the final will be for itself on May 29 after the run of ten episodes. See you tomorrow for the start.
