New shows and films that can stream on Netflix, Hulu, Prime video, Apple TV and more

It is Friday, and that only means one and one: my weekend streaming leader is back, and we have a lot of first-class shows and films that we can cover. You will no longer have things this weekend, especially since I can almost guarantee that your gap looks similar: discouraging, in other words. This week there are a few big premieres and also a few big finals.

As the readers of this column know, I spend every week to paint out the various streaming services that we all subscribe to these days, and track down the best (and sometimes worst) new shows and films, including theater publications, because we cannot always watch everything from the comfort of home. Thanks to a revival, the box office thanked thanks The Minecraft film Although honestly, they would have to step and scream me to see that in the cinemas.

In any case, to observe a lot after your busy days in the sun. Let us immerse yourself!

If you have tips or I missed something, shoot me a message TwitterInstagram or Facebook. You can watch the streaming guidelines here last weekend.

What is new and remarkable this weekend

The history of Handmaid – Season 6 (Hulu)

I checked the first four seasons from The history of the handmaid Rather religious (so to speak) and went through a grieving process in the fourth season. Season 1 was just incredibly excellent and season 2 was also quite great. Elisabeth Moss was as perfect as June Osborne – or in the terrible dystopia of Gilead – and the rest of the line -up was also brilliant. Joseph Fiennes as commander Fred Waterford, Yvonne Strahovski as his wife Serena Joy Waterford, Ann Dowd as a complex aunt Lydia and across the board. It was beautifully shot and a really great adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s novel. And then it started to welcome it. Small things like the close -ups of Moss’ face with her little grin, which was used so often that they lose all meaning, began to irritate me. The story turned its bikes. The desolation began to get under my skin. I stopped seeing in season 5. I discuss whether I should make up for or not so that I can write about the last season. What do you think? Is it worth it, favorite readers? I really have the feeling that the story lost in season 4 Steam.

Black Mirror – Season 7 (Netflix)

Black mirror is one of the best science fiction anthology series that have ever been made, and certainly one of the best shows you will find on Netflix. Season 7 returns with six new episodes and a really phenomenal line -up, including Cristin Milioti (who recently blew up to us everyone The penguin), Rashida Jones (whose excellent Apple TV+ Show Sunny was canceled tragically), Paul Giamatti, Issa Rae, Awkwafina and so much more. It looks dark and stimulating and strange to think about it, of which they would hope Black mirror. Unfortunately, Netflix didn’t give me screensher, so I didn’t have time to see this before it came out, but I hope that I can bring in something over the weekend.

The last of us – season 2 (HBO / Max)

One of the best new shows from HBO and one of the best adjustments of a video game made ever, The last of us Turn back for his second season this weekend, with the premiere of the second season sinking on Sunday evening. Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey return to this dark, post -apocalyptic future. You are by Katlyn Dever as Abby, Young Mazino as Jesse, Isabela Merced as Dina and Catherine O’Hara (who also kill it The studio) as a gail and much more. I am extremely curious how this season is going on and how close she is liable to the game. Many critics had access to the entire season to review it, but I only get one episode at the same time (I’m really not sure why, but I suspect it is because I can be a little hard compared to some TV critics). I will check weekly Here in this blogSo follow so that we can talk about any episode when you come out!

G20 (Prime Video Film)

I wrote an impressions of the trailer for G20Present A new political thriller from Prime Video with Viola Davis as a kind of ridiculously exaggerated bad US president. Some people were very angry with me because I said it looked bad, but reviews are in and. . . It looks bad, people. Rory Doherty des Pastes Magazine compared the film with others in the genre, such as: Air Force one, Write “G20On the other hand, there is a generic, ugly and poorly composed piece of streaming streaming streaming streaming. The boys.

Mondrise (Netflix Anime)

I’m not really a big anime type, but I insert this for those of them. Mondrise Is about a “cosmic conflict between the earth and the moon”. His protagonist Jack takes on a scout in the earth army to fight against the moon’s rebel forces. Things don’t run as planned. The villain is also called Bob Skylum. Perhaps the biggest villain name that has ever been invented.

Doctor Who – Season 2 (Disney+)

It’s not really season 2 of Doctor who, In view of this series, there have been for decades, but it is the second season of the latest (and most controversial) version of the long-term British science fiction series. I have a different confession: I’ve never seen before Doctor who, I am incredibly intimidated by how many seasons and various doctors there are and I hid it somewhere on my bucket list. I think it looks pretty good, but I know the last season, although he is great with critics, didn’t seem to land with fans. The lazy tomatoes share? 94% critics, 29% popcorn meter. What I saw online in terms of reaction to this trailer is largely optimistic and positive. Maybe this will bring the fans back on board.

Sponsor of Harlem – Season 4 (MGM+)

Forest Whitaker returns in the fourth season of the MGM+ HIT drama as New York Gangster of the 1960s, Bumpy Johnson. This is one of these shows that looks really good and has been sitting at my deficiency for years. What do you say, dearest reader? Is it worth the watch?

Your friends and neighbors (Apple TV+)

Jon Hamm has always been great since then Mad Men, And he plays a hedge fund manager in this new Apple TV+ series about a man (Andrew “Coop” Cooper) who loses everything: his job, his marriage, and turns to life with crimes to pay the bills and give his life a little spark. Of course, it goes wrong when he learns too much about his friends and neighbors and quickly gets out of control. This is certainly on my to-watch list this weekend. The premiere is now out.

What I see weekly

One of my weekly shows ended last weekend. The white lotus ended with a somewhat defllinging final of the third season (Here is my assessment) And if I had to distill my thoughts over the season on just one sentence, it would be like this: I liked the pieces more than the whole. In any case, we can now speculate where the next season will take place. Egypt maybe?

The wheel of time (prime video)

The wheel of timeS The third season is still better than it has the right being, with some enormous consequences of the film length, fantastic magical sequences and full battles, including one really massive in the penultimate episode this week. It is definitely the best live action fantasy fantasy, on a sudden better than the best moments of Amazon’s other large fantasy series, The power rings. You can read my rating in season 3 here.

The Pitt (HBO / Max)

The pictures Was great from start to finish. I was a bit sad when the final ended, but it was pretty perfect. I think the only thing I would say is that the real-time medical drama did not need the big events that spanned the last three episodes to make it a great watch. Not that there is something bad when it is so high – I was on the edge of my seat – but I think all the smaller moments, all the individual cases and the strength of the characters and storytelling made this season so great. A second season could work without mass shooting. Maybe next time you will change it into the night shift. The show was a big hit for HBO, which grabbed over 10 million viewers per episode. Read my review here.

The studio (Apple TV)

Four episodes in Apple TV+’S New Movie Business Comedy by Apple TV+ The studio And I absolutely love it, although the fourth episode was the weakest of the weakest so far. Everything about this show is great, from chaos of comedy itself to phenomenal cinematography and the clever letter. This could be the best that Seth Rogen has ever done.

Ludwig (Britbox)

We approach the end of the first season of Ludwig On Britbox and I can’t recommend it enough. If you enjoy clever, cozy British secrets, don’t look any further. This is one of my favorite shows of the year. You can read my review exactly here.

Yellow jackets Season 3 (Paramount+)

The grand finale this week was the third season of 3 of Yellow jackets, What I found only incredibly poor overall, despite some cool things. The final connects directly with the first episode and it should really have been a stunning moment that is filled with huge revelations, but they have been so badly fiddled with the ball since season 2 that I am not sure whether it can actually be saved at this point. To be honest, even though they have clearly set up a fourth season, the third season final could act as a series finale, although many questions remain unanswered. Maybe that’s the best because it is far from being sure that the authors even have good answers to one of these questions. Here is my final review in season 3.

Others show that I have not followed or gathered, but must continue to be observed:

  • Happy face On Paramount+
  • Mobland On Prime Video
  • The fair gemstones On HBO
  • Dope thief On Apple TV
  • Dark wind On AMC
  • Daredevil: Born again On Disney+
