Alfonso Cuaron apparently confirms that he will lead next James Bond – World of Reel

The whisper that we heard might have had some merits. During a master class in Paris, Alfonso Cuarón implicitly confirmed discussions with Amazon/MGM to lead Bond 26.

There is actually this project that is being discussed, and I have the desire – if it happens – to visit this story again in my own way.

Last month, a source in Amazon/MGM Jeff Sneider said that the rumor that Bond producer David Heyman Alfonso Cuarón potentially observed the next 007 rate.

A few weeks later, Matt Belloni revealed that he had also heard that Cuarón could lead Bond 26, and added that the filmmaker had met with Amazon and had a new “take” for what the next one would look like.

Amazon wants to move quickly and make a team ready as soon as the right -wing contract of 1 billion US dollars is concluded with Barbara Broccoli. Writers have already been set for Bond 26; It makes sense that a director is now in the eye.

Back in the Aughts, Cuarón was offered to lead a bond, but the filmmaker was quick off As soon as he found out that there would be a separate broccoli-approved team that shoots the campaign.

Now Cuarón is not a slip when it comes to action (“Children of Men”) and he already has a franchise with a loyal followers (“Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban”). It seems to fit well and was already my number 3 to control the franchise to Amazon after Christopher Nolan and Denis Villeneuve.

Cuarón has the Apple TV series “Liability exclusion”, but it has not made a film since 2018. He will go on board something in the coming months. Will it be Bond 26? To be honest, I would like to see that.
