Mikel Areta carefully about the Kai Havertz injury before the end of the season

Mikel Areta is cautious whether Kai Havertz could bring back an injury before the end of this season.

The Arsenal striker suffered a thigh injury that required an operation over Arsenal in the middle of the season in the middle of the season in February, and it should probably be striving for a return in the previous season. He posted a video on social media this week to work in the gym.

Havertz was the second Arsenal player who needed an operation for Bukayo Saka this season because of a thigh injury.

The English international took 101 days to make his return to the campaign and asked if Havertz could be similar with the last game of the season 108 days after confirming his injury, said Areta: “So we have a few additional days?

“Every injury is (not) the same. The way of thinking of these two is very similar.

“Hopefully we can have it, but let’s wait. As soon as you reach the last stage of this rehab, you can better understand how close you took this next step.”

In the short term, Arsenal’s focus of the 3-0 quarter-final victory of Champions League against Real Madrid to Hosting Brentford in the Premier League changed this weekend.

Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice were the only potential doubts after they had knocked on Madrid, but Arteta added: “Dec and Bukayo are both fit. It was only a question from two kicks and they recovered well so that they are available for tomorrow.”

Riccardo Calafiori, who suffered a knee injury during the recent international break, is closest to the return of injuries. After the fitness of the Italian defender, Areteta said: “Ricky is going very well. It is difficult to give them a timeline because he has to rise, especially if more people are nearby and how the knee reacts afterwards, but he is in a good place.”

Arsenal stands in front of Brentford on Saturday, April 12th and will make sure that the third Nottingham Forest cannot close the five-point gap between them in second place.
