The full moon in April illuminated this weekend all over the world and delights Skywatchers with a dramatic show.

Known as the pink moon or the pashall moon, the full moon of this month was the smallest full moon in 2025. This is because he achieved lace lighting in Apoggee, the further point in his orbit in its orbit from Earth and earned his title of a “micromonon”. Although the difference in size is difficult to recognize with the naked eye, the striking glow of the moon created a breathtaking backdrop for photographers and moon lovers alike. Despite his name, The Pink Moon is not really pink – he is named after the Moss Pink, one of the first wild flowers of Spring that bloom.
