Cubs Pitcher applied in 2-1-außßer customer victory against Padres ‘Great Performance’

San Diego-Nico Hoerner pressed the third base from his head-in front of his head and hit his chest, screamed back to the rough cubs that his go-a-haad RBI celebrated.

“It is fun when you are in the third basic key and it is right in front of you and see all the faces,” said Hoerner, after winning the 2-1 extra-inside of the CUBs on Tuesday. “And you put a lot of time in this game, so you have to enjoy these special things.”

Hoerners 10.-Ininning-Leadoff triple was the difference in the game. The Cubs went out the series in Petco Park and gave the Padres their first loss of home of the season on the back of a strong pitching performance for 10 innerings.

“That was the real history of the game,” said Hoerner. “Shota (Imanaga) and then everyone else who followed were so good. And even in a game in which we left some outs in the field, there was still a run to a really strong offensive like this and so many people – that was only a great, enormous performance of so many people that made this game possible. That was incredible.”

The only run of the Padres was avoidable.

After Imanaga kept Padres off the Padres offensive for four innings, Manny Machado brought a flyball into a bad territory on the first field of his fifth Inning bat. But it took a look at Kyle Tucker’s glove – a mistake for Tucker and a second chance for Machado.

On the fourth climb of the bat, Machado appeared in a bad area. But the attempted basement from third party Baseman Gage Workman failed. Another mistake. And Macado stepped back into the box of the dough.

The battle ended on the ninth playing field when Machado put an fast ball down and put in the left seat.

“I mean, give Machado recognition,” said manager Craig Consell. “I don’t know that as a fan they are frustrated that we didn’t play games. But give Machado some recognition there.”

The Cubs went out the next inning with a small ball.

Dansby Swanson and Nico Hoerner beats singles in a row to lead the sixth place. Then the Padres replaced the starting jug Randy Vásquez with the left-handed Adrian Morejon when the crow arm strong of the Cubs came to the bat.

Crow-Armstrong let a colorful base line up, and when Swanson sprinted home, Padres fumbled the first Baseman Luis Arraez. Swanson dived over the plate and crow arm strong first reached without throwing.

The Cubs relievers Daniel Palencia, Julian Merryweather, Porter Hodge and Ryan switched the Padres’ crime through the rest of the regulation, which is exposed to the sixth inning to the ninth minimum.

After Hoerner had driven the automatic extra-in-internal runner in the 10th runner, the left-handed Caleb Thielbar took the hill onto the bottom of the inn with a runner on the second and hardly any scope.

“Nothing new is, but it will never be easier,” said Thielbar. “Especially with such a team, they simply do not close much, make a lot of contact and they really just have to hope that the ball will jump in their own way. And this evening it did it.”

Thielbar only allowed a Baserunner who struggled around Padres Star Fernando Tatís Jr. and deliberately tensioned him in a 2-0 count before securing the final on a Flight Ball from Arraez.
