S Kennedy Urlacher is the transfer portal after a season at Notre Dame

Notre Dame Safety Kennedy Urlacher will enter the NCAA transfer portal Pro.

The 5-foot-11, 195 pounder performed as a newcomer in 2024 in 14 games and recorded 12 duels in the season. Urlacher played a role in special teams (128 games) and 65 snapshots in defense, including 23 games against Purdue.

In fact, Urlacher made at least one duel in every game outside of Louisville’s game. The high -ranging Arizona’s season was three duels against Purdue and his only pass separation came against the boiler makers.

Why leave Notre lady?

The rise of classmate Tae Johnson could be a reason. The natives of Fort Wayne (Ind.) Urlacher’s departure violates the total depth, but the Irish also built up a high quality depth, which is rarely to be said when they talk about the safety position.

In addition to Johnson, power and actual, Notre Dame returns with the certainty Adon Shuler, who recorded 59 duels and three interceptions in 2024. The Irish will also have many young people in the positions in early participants Jadon Blair and Ethan Long.
