Luke Fickell with strong words for those who choose Wisconsin

Luke Fickell approaches the transfer portal when it comes to his own Wisconsin Football team. And right or wrong, it seems as if Fickell lives or die.

The Badgers have expired a disappointing season that ended without a Bowl game and made changes to all fronts. This includes using the transfer portal with important incoming players such as the new quarterback Billy Edwards, Jr.

However, Edwards does not necessarily fall under the recent words of his head coach. He is a former Maryland athlete, so Edwards understands the Big Ten conference and what Fickell expects from him.

“It’s not for everyone, isn’t it?” Fickell recently said during an interview (thanks to Dillon Graff for the quotes). “This is an adult league of a man, and this is an adult man game. And if the boys don’t understand it and that is not the right one for them, it is what it is.”

Although it does not give any names, it is quite obvious who Fickell leads these comments.

Tanner Koziol, one of the most important players He brought in when the winter transfer portal window opened, should step back into the portal on Wednesday when the spring cycle begins. The former Ball State Tight End was a valuable recruit, but it seems that after a few weeks he is ready to continue in the program.

Another, Mark Hamper, who was committed to Idaho at the same time. Even after a short stay under Fickell, he will step back into the transfer portal.
