New shows and films that can stream on Netflix, Hulu, Prime video, Apple TV and more

The warm summer-like spring days have turned into a full-blown winter storm in the mountains overnight, which is perfect for those of us who tend to roll up with a good TV show or a good film. But even if you experience less cold weather, there is a lot this weekend to keep you entertaining and much more will come next week.

As always, I searched the internet for the best new streaming (and theater) content for your vision pleasure. Below you will find all new things and the best shows that are broadcast every week. Most streaming services also publish an episode instead of the Binge Watch-Netflix method.

If you have tips or I missed something, shoot me a message TwitterInstagram or Facebook. You can watch the streaming guidelines here last weekend.

ForbesWhat can be seen this weekend: new shows and films to stream on Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, Apple TV and more

What is new and remarkable this weekend

Ransom Canyon (Netflix)

Ransom canyon is Netflix’s extensive new western romance with Timothy Olyphant Doppelganger, Josh Duhamel and Minka Kelly. It is clearly a show for that Yellowstone Crowd. Horses, wide -open landscapes, melodrama and romance in the modern American west. The drama based in Texas is based on the series of books by Jodi Thomas. All episodes stream now.

Law & Order: Organized Crime – Season 5 (peacock)

Law & order: organized crime Return to Peacock for a fifth season and a new home. The series follows for many years Law & order Detective Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni), which I remember from Wayback when he was on it Special sacrifice unit. Stabler is retired and takes over the organized crime. I didn’t really see Organized crime Still, I was a big fan of the original Law & order and some seasons of Svu. I might have to check it.

In the direction of zero (Britbox)

I have started the new BBC / Britbox Agatha Christie Limited Series, but not yet completed Towards zero. So far it is pretty good, even though it is a slow burning. I was not familiar with this, as I am in all things, the Hercules Poirot and Miss Marple, so strong. So it is exciting to follow all new characters, including Matthew Rhys as a detective James Leach, while after a top -class divorce with high recording, he examines a murder. If you enjoy a sophisticated British secret, try it. All episodes can now be streamed.

#1 Happy Family USA (Prime Video)

An animated comedy series for adults to a Muslim-American family in the shadow of September 11, which navigated the early 2000s, and everything that included overzealous patriotism to the challenges of assimilation and war against terror.

The sample – season 2 (HBO / Max)

Nathan Fielder returns to HBO for the second season of his Docu comedy series. I haven’t seen this and honestly didn’t hear about it until I researched this guide, but it sounds funny and exciting. Fielder plays a fictional version of himself that commissioned actors and sets to form detailed simulations in order to help its customers work through difficult scenarios. I have the feeling that this summary of the show does not meet. I will add this to my backlog of shows to catch up with your current or upcoming season!

Light & Magic – Season 2 (Disney+)

The second season of the eye behind the scenes of Industrial Light and Magic and Lucasfilm and the films that make some very talented special effects Andor Season 2. If you are interested in the history of these films, give him a watch. Very interesting stuff. (Even if they have become disillusioned with Star Wars, You cannot accuse the teams behind the special effects!)

Sinner (in the cinemas)

Michael B. Jordan plays twin brothers who return to their hometown Mississippi from a life with booting in Chicago to start their own Juke joint. I saw this film Thursday evening and found that it is quite excellent, with really great music and cinematography and a funny horror application. You can read my review exactly here.

What I see weekly

The wheel of time (prime video)

Several shows ended last week, including Yellow jackets, That gave us another lackluster season, although some interesting things took place in the final. Ludwig Surte his last episode, as it was done The wheel of time I found both excellent. The wheel of time finally really came for itself. The actors found their step. Writing is much better than in the past. The special effects, the costumes and production as a whole have been phenomenal, and I love the 70 -minute term for each of the eight episodes. Far better than Amazon’s other great epic fantasy show, The power rings. When all these shows end, we have to keep an eye on this section. But there are still a few good things that are broadcast weekly.

The last of us (HBO / Max)

Season 2 of HBOS Post -apocalyptic drama The last of us Last week premiered and I had pretty mixed feelings. Of course I also had mixed feelings for the second game, so this shouldn’t be a surprise. I will check that every Sunday evening. I hope that it takes care of the season, but I have to admit that I doubt that it will be as good as in season 1. Here is my evaluation of the premiere.

The studio (Apple TV)

The studio Is definitely one of the best and funniest shows on TV. Seth Rogen, who is one of the creators of the show, plays a strolling film studio boss on his head and, despite his many defects, always makes a mess, but still lovable and personable. It’s not just a funny show, it’s actually quite clever and is really a tribute to the film.

Dope thief (Apple TV)

Apple is clearly on a role these days Compensation And Slow horses. I am a few episodes behind it Dope thief, But so far it has been a really tense, exciting story about two men who rob drug dealers while pretending to be DEA agents – until an attack becomes bad and they are confused with some very dangerous people.

Your friends and neighbors (Apple TV)

I really enjoy it Your friends and neighbors until now. Jon Hamm plays a recently divorced financier who finds himself out of a job and is exposed to debt and ruin who turns to a life with crimes to pay the bills. He realizes that all of his overwhelming friends and neighbors probably do not miss the strange piece of jewelry or the expensive watch and fall back on burglary, while they come up with the flatness and emptiness of life he led. It’s funny, exciting and hamm and the rest of the line -up is great.

Mobland (Paramount+)

Tom Hardy plays a “fixer” for the ruthless Harrigan gang in this entertaining crime thriller drama on Paramount+. And what a line -up! Hardy plays alongside Pierce Brosnan, Hellen Mirren, Paddy Considine and more. I only saw the first couples, but it is a lot of fun so far.

The history of the Handmaid (Hulu)

I always discuss whether I should buckle up and look at season 5 so that I can catch up and write about season 6 of The history of the handmaid But as I already mentioned, it is just so damn desolate. I burned down after season 4 on the show and struggle to find the motivation to come back, especially if there are so many other things that I can see at the moment. What do you think, favorite readers? Is it good this season so far?

Others show that I have not followed or gathered, but must continue to be observed:

  • Harlem godfather On MGM+
  • Happy face On Paramount+
  • The fair gemstones On HBO
  • Dark wind On AMC
  • Daredevil: Born again On Disney+
  • Doctor who On Disney+

What else did I miss? What do you look at these days? What should I put on this list or add my deficit? let me know TwitterInstagram, Bluesky or Facebook.
