Maverick McNealy, Keith Mitchell chosen co-chair of the PAC of the PGA Tour

The PGA tour announced on Wednesday that Maverick McNealy and Keith Mitchell were elected by membership of the tour as the Council of Council of Players in 2025.

McNealy and Mitchell will replace Peter Malnati and Webb Simpson on January 1, 2026 as player directors in the PGA Tour Policy board.

“I think Golfweek in February. “I want what is best for the tour. I love the PGA tour, I love my job, I now have enough experience to understand how things work. I have worked everything from a rookie to keep my card up to an impression of how these bigger events work. I now know enough to consider and want what is best for the 240 or so members.”

McNealy was the leading voter and will serve an term of four years in the Tour Policy board. The 29-year-old from Portola Valley, California, is on the tour in his sixth season and achieved his first career victory at the RSM Classic in 2024. After a T-3 in the Valero Texas Open on April 6, his fourth top 10 season, he moved to the top 10 of the official world golf ranking for the first time in his career.

Mitchell, who has received the second most common votes, will be born in a term of three years. The ballot cover included McNealy, Mitchell and Rickie Fowler. As already announced, the PAC will go on a process that enables only one PAC chairman to choose every year.

“I enjoy the stuff. I think so much that it is a productive opportunity for me to spend my time the course,” said Mitchell.

The 33-year-old former Georgia Bulldog is on tour in season eighth. Mitchell won Honda Classic in 2019 and qualified six times for the Fedex Cup playoffs and is currently number 78 in the FedEx Cup with four top 25 years this season.

The Council Council of 2025 was announced at the beginning of this year. Each PAC member works in one of four PAC undermines that was founded in 2024 with the focus on various areas of the tour business: business matters; Competitions; Paths; And tournaments, fans and sponsors.
