Ky3 represents Ozarks born Emily Pritchard next co-vert

When the retirement of the experienced reporter and Anker Lisa Rose approached, Ky3 announced the hiring of Emily Pritchhard, the coming Missouri.

This year she will take over the management of Ky3 News with Steve Grant at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Pritchhard grew up in Waynesville and completed the Waynesville High School and the University of Missouri. She has spent 15 years in journalism.

“I am very happy to come home. This is a dream option for me to join the Ky3 talented team and bring my family back to Missouri, where this magical journey began for me,” said Presschard in a press release in which she announced her attitude.

Pritchhard was involved in the reporting in the political elections and protests against snow storms and forest fires. She loves sports and grew up and watched the Missouri State Lady Bears and St. Louis Cardinals. She won a Rocky Mountain Regional Emmy Award for Morning Newscast for reporting before the Super Bowl victory in Kansas City Chiefs in Phoenix.

She and husband Brian have a daughter, Quinn and a German Shepherd and a Husky mix called Wayne.

General Manager Brian McDonough said in the press release: “We are pleased to have someone with Emily’s call for us at Ky3. We look forward to that she shares your knowledge and hard work with the newsroom.”

It will appear in various news in the coming weeks before she takes over the co-anchor on July 28th. Roses last day will be on July 25th.

“While we are very lacking Lisa Rose in the newsroom, we are happy about this new phase that we enter with Emily,” said McDonough in the publication. “It will continue Ky3’s legacy of excellence and engagement for the community.”
