Melania Trump divides the message on Good Friday in front of the Easter hinge of the White House

When the Holy Week approaches her eventful end, First Lady Melania Trump went to X to turn to Americans on Good Friday. She also shared her excitement for the upcoming Easter egg role of the White House.

“May this Good Friday inspire hope and faith to all Americans and our friends around the world,” wrote first lady.

“While families all over the nation gather to celebrate Easter,” she also wrote, “thanks the committed East Wing employees for their tireless efforts to prepare for the upcoming Easter Easter roll of the White House.”

“This esteemed tradition, which has been rooted in history since 1878, brings joy, telling and laughing in America’s children,” she continued.

This is the 147th year of tradition, which, according to the Weißen Haus website, dates back to Rutherford B. Hayes’ presidency in 1878.

Before this time, the egg rolls were “prohibited due to an increase in popularity caused by landscape concerns for the reasons of the US capital,” the same source said.

“I look forward to seeing all the smile on this memorable day on Monday,” wrote First Lady Melania Trump.

The planning of the egg role usually falls on the first women of America, with each woman incorporating her own taste and interests into the event.

According to the Weißen Haus website, past celebrations included part of the lawn to dance and the introduction of the traditional egg roll races.

The participants are selected via an online lottery that ended on March 10th.

Every year the children who are present receive Souvenir -Holzeer as a piece of memory to take away.

The egg roll of the White House will take place on Monday, April 21, on the southern turf of the White House.
