2025 NFL design notes, Intel: What Adam Schefter hears

Since the NFL design of 2025 on Thursday evening in Green Bay and the Titans begins at the first round on the first round, it is time to share some Intel and findings.

At this point last year, a few days before a draft, in which six quarterbacks were selected in the top 12 picks, I wrote in this column: “A General Manager from NFL said that he thinks there is an undercovering for Michael Penix Jr., and Bo nothing, although his team has no round in both round notes. Penix could go as high as No. 8.”

Perhaps there is still a penix-like surprise in this design-we will soon see enough. However, the following information comes from weeks with calls with Front -Offices and Coaching employees and will play on Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Green Bay, where ESPN and their crew will be the first round at 8 p.m.

This has been the first NFL design in Wisconsin for more than 85 years, since the draft from 1940 took place on December 9, 1939 in the Schroeder Hotel in Milwaukee. It took place the night before the 1939 NFL championship game, in which the Packers defeated the Giants with 27: 0. The same hotel is still there, but today it is known as the city center of Hilton Milwaukee.

This is always one of the best weeks of the year with strangers throughout the design. Here are some of the many things I hear:
