Eagles, Cam Jurgens agree with the conditions for the extension of four years

Jürgens, a draft in the second round in 2002 (No. 51), learned the ropes in his rookie season when the Eagles moved to Super Bowl LVII and then switched to the right wax position and earned the start job for 11 games. Jason Kelce retired after the season and Jürgens moved into his natural position of the center, started 16 games last season and received per bowl ceremonies, became the youngest Eagles center to receive per bowl recognition since Ken Farragut (also 25) in 1953.

“I have the feeling that I have a lot of good guys in me and I just learned to get better every game this year. It is a great honor, so many people who play it,” said Jürgens when he was appointed Pro Bowl selection. “I will still do the same and be the same person.”

“I think he did a phenomenal job. I mean everyone will compare him with Jason (Kelce). But cam is cam. He will do his own thing. He has filled the role of playing for the Philadelphia Eagles very well,” said Dickerson.

Jürgens, who will be 26 years old at the beginning of the 2025 season, meets the high season of his NFL career. He was part of a great offensive and offensive line last season when Barkley hurried for a league record of 2,504 yards (playoffs). The dynamic running game was almost unstoppable because the Eagles made the most lavish yards (3,866) in the NFL story as a whole. The double attack also set a franchise record in the Passer rating (103.4).

Jürgens was an outstanding role in Nebraska, where he started his career at the narrow end before adding £ 45 when he moved to the middle, and was an all-Big selection there before jumping to the NFL. The Eagles were thrilled that Jürgens was available in the second round of the NFL design in 2022 and introduced Jürgens as a later replacement for Kelce.

The plan worked perfectly.

“We nailed that,” said Jeff Stoutland, coordinator for Run Game coordinator/offensive lines trainer.

“He was great all year round,” said Quarterback Jalen Hurts. “He had a bad snapshot to start the season, and all the surveys and all the things that were thrown in his way and were a Pro -Bowler. He did a great job.”
