The Easter egg roll from White House has large tech logos, branding

Cnn

The logos of Big Tech companies and important associations were prominently presented in the Easter egg of the White House on Monday and offered an unprecedented scene and the use of the site to promote private business.

Children danced on the grass when a military band Martha and the Vandella’s “nowhere to run, nowhere to hide” performed on a stage with eggs and rabbits with the YouTube logo. And dozens of participants occurred to take a photo in Metas tent, which contained a backdrop of the White House and a Locator icon in the style of Instagram.

All money collected from sponsorship are moved to the non -profit historical association of the White House. However, the sponsoring options, which CNN were reported in March for the first time, have led to concern by ethics and right-wing experts and by officials from the White House on both sides of the gang, since the inquiries contradict the long-term regulations that prohibit the use of the public office for private profits.

These possibilities included “name rights for key areas or elements” and “sponsor logos on the event signing”, according to a document of an external production company called Harbinger received by CNN.

The guests sit on a station organized by Amazon on the south -tub of the White House before President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump take part in the Osterei roll of the White House.

The sponsorship underline the length for which companies want to build relationships with the Trump government – even in the middle of the uncertainty and the upheaval of President Donald Trump’s tariff policy. This was particularly moving because a volunteer in a white apron enabled a photo coat, while a toddler and his parents sound a sham bell sponsored by the New York stock exchange when the Dow fell by more than 1,000 points.

Also on Monday, families went under an arch from hundreds of fresh carrots with branding “International Fresh Produce Association”. A volunteer distributed Slinky toys in a “Play Garden” aspect of the Toy Association.

A “Reading Nook” tent was set up with a couch and an Amazon signage.

But when First Lady Melania Trump came to read “Bunny with a big heart”, she was far from branding and logos, in another reading corner in the Jacqueline Kennedy Garden, decorated with flowers and an Easter egg roller shield of the pastel white house.

Private contributions dealt with activity stands, artists, music, provider, staging, equipment and decor, said a source familiar with the planning, the anonymity of which was granted for the detailed specifications of the financing mechanisms.

Any excess financing that said that this source said will go to the White House similar events such as Halloween celebrations and the fourth July.
