Japan Airlines flights now bookable with jetblue trublue points

Japan Airlines will likely be a transfer partner of Bilt in the next few weeks, but in the meantime there is a new way to book flights with awards with them, this time with jetblue hustle.

The availability currently seems to be very hit or failed, but if you can be booked with trueblue points with award flights, there can be a good value.

The non -stop flight from New York JFK to Tokyo Haneda is available in business for 34,500 points.

Premium economy can now be seen for 59,000 points from Los Angeles to Osaka. This is not a good value, so it is not worth redeeming almost 60,000 points for it.

A much better option – if you can find availability – is the non -stop option from Seattle to Tokyo Narita in Business Class. This is also only 59,000 points.

At the moment they only seem to be able to book in economy, premium economy or business class – not in first class.

Remember that you can also book Japan Airlines Awards through other programs such as American Airlines Aadvantage and Alaska Airlines. It is worth checking the pricing for programs across programs, as you may be able to do better elsewhere depending on the route.

Jetblue Trublue is a transfer partner with the following programs:

  • American Express membership rewards
  • Capital a miles
  • Chase ultimate rewards
  • Citi thank you

Of these, Amex and Capital One offer a poor transmission rate of 250: 200 and 1,000: 600. These programs are therefore only considered in the event of a generous transfer bonus. In the meantime, the Chase and Citi broadcast 1: 1, so that they are generally better options for their credit in every program.

If you are interested in booking Japan Airlines flights with Jetblue points, it could be advisable sooner than later sooner and later. Jetblue has a form for the introduction of partner prices at a price, then the remorse of the buyer and thus quickly has the pricing of the award ceremony. The fingers crossed that these competitive prices – especially for Business Class Awards – remain, but not too surprised if this is not the case.
