The legendary supermodel, 59, pursues a new approach to aging in 2021 after her traumatic cool sculpting experience, which led to not only increasing fat cells, but hardening around her stomach, between her thighs and under every armpit.

“I have to go through the therapy to like what I see when I look in the mirror and I still don’t look in the mirror,” she said to Harpers Bazaar in an interview for the cover of the beauty problems of the magazine. “I didn’t want to see myself because I didn’t love myself or myself.”

While she is still keeping up with her botox injections, Evangelista revealed that she has dissolved her entire filler because she, as she put it: “I didn’t look like me.”

“I do the work and try to get to the place where I myself, mistakes and everything, and everything, and everything, and try to love myself,” she added.

Evangelista-a double breast cancer-survivor-affected actually learned to use the aging process. “I don’t care how I agree. I just want to age. It doesn’t have to be graceful,” she said, adding: “I really don’t want to die.”

She continued: “I still have so much to do. I finally feel good with myself and everything, and now I want to enjoy it.”

“I want to be a grandmother, but not in the immediate future,” she said, thinking of her son Augustin, who starts college in autumn. “I live. I live. I live and I will do what I have to do.”

“I will fight because I don’t want it to be,” she concluded. “I’m not finished.”
