Kirill Kaprizov and Matt Boldy organized a show, Ryan Hartman feels like a wild series

Las Vegas – It is almost fitting that the Minnesota Wild had hidden one of their best playoff games with children in bedtime and adults who hid under the cover in Twin Cities.

If the game 5-2 against the Vegas Golden Knights and nobody awake to see him east of Sin City, did it really happen?

Now, despite the CT opening of 11:15 p.m. ET/10:15 p.m. on Tuesday evening, the Wild’s Wild Final was the best-of-Seven western conference with one victory per piece and the Stanley Cup champs from two years ago in the Xcel Energy Center in the Xcel Energy Center.

Kirill Kaprizov and Matt Boldy followed their four-point performance in game 1 by combining them in game 2 for three goals and two templates in game 2. And a game after Boldy said that he saw Kaprizov’s blocking pass on one of the gates until the puck landed on his blade.

Of course, Marcus Foligno, who was sitting for Boldy’s real after the postgame podium: “This is actually rude. I supported her first NHL destination. Wow. Interview is over.”

To say that the mood of the game on Tuesday evening is a jollier as Sunday evening is an understatement.

After they had to survive an early storm in the first five minutes, when Vegas had triggered the first five shots of the game and Filip Gustavson had to do a few dandy parades, including two directly in front of the hop on Ivan Barbashev, coach John Hynes’ one-layout Ryan Hartman until the third center of Marco Rossi to four. The center paid off on a big path.

Since the wilderness urgently needs an impulse layer, the Foligno-Hartman-Gustav Nyquist line came.

Hartman immediately received an outlier with the friendly approval of Nyquist. After eleven goals in game 1, Foligno Zach Whitecloud destroyed one of his franchise playoff record-12 goal (in an NHL playoff game ever for the eights). Nyquist then achieved a great success of Nicolas Hague in the neutral zone before sending another puck for Hartman.

The wilderness took over complete control over the period from there.

In a period of 7:19, Kaprizov sent an Airborne pass of 60 feet in the air to get a Boldy Breakaway goal. Hartman built Foligno for his third career playoff goal in the goal. And then Brayden McNabb made a massive run at Mats Zuccarello, which led to McNabb rattling over the glass after the Zuccarello was dodged. Moments later, Shea Theodore, who was a well-deserved minus-4 with McNabb, Marcus Johansson coughed the puck before Johansson Zuccarello set up for a 3-0 lead.

“I am also met from time to time,” said Zuccarello. “Next time he will probably meet me.”

After a further turnover from Theodore, Kaprizov achieved her way to victory in a rush of the second period and the game behind Gustavson’s 30 parades, before Kaprizov sealed the deal with a 150-foot leader.

But don’t make a mistake: Hartman’s line – especially Hartman – was the catalyst behind the victory on Tuesday. There is a reason why Captain Jared Spurgeon Hartman presented the game puck and said he was in the minds of the golden knights.

Hartman, who was suspended eight games in February and March, is often examined for his lack of discipline. But after only 12 points in his previous three post -Saisons with the wilderness, Hartman was set up an integral part of Foligno on Tuesday in both goals from Boldy on Sunday and every time the Golden Knights tried to bring him into non -school vacations through two games.

“I admit Hartzy. I think he played great in the last few games,” said Foligno. “(Nyquist) is really good with the puck, very good and harmful and designed, and if I can get in there and be physical, we open some things and Harty has a lot of skill on the net, so it is a line that we have to go. I think the first game was a bit if we are devoting ourselves to Rossi and Nyquist if we are devoting ourselves to the juel and young animals.”

The playoffs are about going to fight, and Hartman is more than ready to get into the meat. This is Rossi’s first playoff appearance, and after Hynes had only registered with Yakov Trenin and Justin Brazeau in game 1 and a shot in the regular season, he classified the second scorer of the game. The line had a few hairy moments on Tuesday when it was lined in her own zone, even when Rossi lost the puck when he came to a front corner.

Simple and simple, Rossi will have to play with more speed and grit if it is increased in the line -up.

“It just has to be a little more from Marco,” said Hynes on Tuesday morning. “If you arrive at this time of year, there is another degree of competition and speed. I would like to see that it will be a little better in these areas. I am confident that Marco will help us and will be a differentiator in this series in this series.”

Just ask Boldy how much the first taste of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Boldy did not go off well in his first two post -seasons. He was too extensive and GM Bill Guerin criticized him after the St. Louis and Dallas series in 2022 and 2023. Now Boldy comes through with three goals and an assist in this series.

Another step that Hynes resisted was that, the nyquist for Vinnie Hinostroza after a HU man, 10-minute performance in game 1. Nyquist, only two goals in 24 games (a power play goal and a six-against-five goal) since returning to the wild. He was acquired from Nashville for a second round for a 2026 and scored a five-against-five goal in his last 72 games and is minus 25.

But Nyquist fits like a glove with foligno and Hartman.

“I’m happy with my games,” said Nyquist. “I only try where I use to give my best and to fulfill the role that I asked. It is first of all a pigeonality in this group, and so it has always been since I came here. You just have to go out and do your job.”

Hartman drew a penalty in game 1, but could have drawn for three or four years, including checking the Haag’s teeth. But he didn’t bark the officials. He neither returns to Haag nor against the golden knights. He just played the game and was rewarded by Hynes in game 2.

“I’m just trying to give our team a boost,” said Hartman. “We need all 20 boys out there. Big begins, swing swing. I think as our line, I think that we can sometimes do it if things may not go the right way, try to swing this dynamic in our direction.”

Since Joel Eriksson Ek’s return of injuries with four games had returned in the regular season, Hartman centered the fourth line and at least remained professionally. He has distributed his time and is now again where he is used to it.

“Listen, I’m just trying to play the game hard, try to be undeniable and go out there and earn time,” he said. “Obviously we all always need. I think there will be points where the boys rise and the boys go down, and so you win at this time of year.”

The other way to win is with a balanced value. This is Vegas’ Hallmark, and at least for one night the Wild goals scored by each of her three top lines. If you look at all the teams that follow the long playoff runs, it is not just their stars that are visible to score goals. The deep men have to contribute to this, and this must be continued in this series.

The game did a good job in this series, especially in Vegas’ Top -Line, which includes Jack Eichel and Mark Stone. Foligno said he could see that the line is frustrated. The game was also super disciplined, took two minors in game 1 and went on Tuesday for the third time in their playoff story.

We all know that the Wild special teams were the heel of their Achilles this season, especially their penalty. So it is almost funny that the game raves about how this series was served because they know that even strength has been their most likely path for their first series victory since 2015.

“It fits us well to play five against five,” admitted Hartman. “I think we are happy about how everything is called. We are not here to complain about anything.”

Hynes added: “Both teams became disciplined in the regular season and in the regular season they have habits over 82 games, and then they have in a very competitive environment, their penal discipline is instinctive. This is probably a trademark of every team, and I think they can play physically without being punished.”

It is astonishing what a victory with the complexion can do. Suddenly you look at the rehearsal size of two games, and there is a lot to like how the game play, from their defense and physicality to their balanced evaluation and their discipline.

But there are still many series, reminded Kaprizov.

“There are only two games, people, you know,” said Kaprizov. “Just keep playing. It’s nice, we take this game this evening and come back to our building, have fun there. I hope every fan is excited in Minnesota and we just stick to it.”
