Get ready to overwhelm Barbecue – press Enterprise

People at the StagoCoach Country Music Festival know what they like, smoked meat, and Adrian Garcia plans to deliver it in Indio this weekend.

“No matter where you are, I have barbecue everywhere,” said Garcia, culinary director and director of food and drinks at Goldenvoice Festivals, which is organizing the show.

It will take place on Friday, April 25th to Sunday, April 27th, in the Empire Polo Club with the headliners Luke Combs, Jelly Roll and Zach Bryan.

Every three days are sold out.

Since its foundation in 2007, StagoCoach has been about what Garcia described as “tons of grilling”, but in a telephone interview he said that providers always wanted to bring it to the next level.

“Now the palate has also switched from the grill to more high-end offers,” he added.

Among them is Le Burger from Camphor, a pop-up with a Michelin star in the VIP area of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, which remains on the Polo ground for a third weekend.

He called Camphor “a quick, informal eating concept, not something you have been waiting for. But you go up, it looks a bit sexy. You can order your food. You can hang around for a bit. Or you can take your burger and take a walk to make a picnic with your friends.”

“They appear for the Stago coach gönner and come in with steak fries, a bit of an increased grill offer.”

The Celebrity Chef Guy Fieri, who has been part of the festival since 2018, will cook with Pitmasters and headliners like Jelly Roll at his own event location, Guy Fieris StagoCoach Smokehouse.

“The Guy team is great, always has so much fun and pushes the limits of what they did the year before, said Garcia.

A VIP salon will have a “taste of Guy’s Smokehouse”, but according to Garcia, the demos will be general approval.

“Everyone will have access to the demos. If you are on the rail, you will see Guy, you may be interacting with Guy. You will probably try something that has literally only done. And that’s for everyone.”

As with Coachella, there will be spokesmen that Garcia wants to find festival goers for themselves.

The returnees include Porky’s by chef Aaron May, Big Lees BBQ by Rashad Jones, Murphs Shack by Marc Murphy, Prince Street Pizza, Tacos 1986 and Kogi, Taco -Truck, founded by the celebrity chef Roy Choi.

“I always love to have Roy Choi and the team here, and I feel like many customers traveling from the state, have no chance of trying out things like Kogi, but seeing them on Instagram.”

Despite the grill, Garcia Veganer has not forgotten. Forever Pie and Monty’s good burger will be one of the returning providers.
