I do not expect Hancock to be close to some of the more pessimistic projections. Yes, there seems to be consistent concerns among experts that he is beaten too often from the line and can snap jerseys when he feels that he is back. But that can be trained. On the other hand, you cannot coach speed. You don’t often get a player as versatile as Hancock with as much raw speed as him. Yes, maybe he is not ready to be a Down cover corner in the NFL. But even as a current work, Hancock only has too much talent to fall.

Nothing would shock me because Hancock gives so much potential in both directions, but I would be surprised if he falls into the seventh round. In fact, I would be less surprised if a team saw his potential and took it into the third round than if he fell to the seventh.
