Guardian choose Kolby Allard – MLB trading rumors

The guards announced that they selected the contract of the left -hander Kolby Allard From Triple-A Columbus. Left -handed Erik Sabrowski was moved to the 60-day injury list and the right-handed Zak Kent was optimized for triple-A in the corresponding movements. As reported yesterday, Cleveland also called Doug Nikhazy as 27th man for today’s Doubleheader with the Red Sox.

Allard signed a Minor League contract with the guards in February after the Phillies had taken the south paw outside her list after the 2024 season and Allard chose the freelance agency. Sabrowski started the season with the 15-day IL after the elbow inflammation had stopped taking it from it during the spring training. A change to the 60-day injury list counts as no surprise, since Sabrowski still needs a longer congestion to compensate for the lack of his regular preparation time. This means that his debut 2025 will be held at the end of May at the earliest.
