Ex-Wolverine Dug McDaniel announces the transmission goal

Dug McDaniel announced his third and probably final college basketball team on Thursday.

The former Michigan starting point guard will play his senior season for Memphis. He played in the state of Kansas last season after adjusting his first two seasons for the Wolverines.

It was always productive, if not particularly efficient. For his career, he achieved an average of 11.8 points, 4.4 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.3 steals over 92 games. He shot 39 percent of the ground and 33 percent compared to 3.

The 5-foot 11-point Guard moved to Michigan’s starting line-up in December after Jaelin Llewellyn suffered an injury at the end of the season. McDaniel held the job for the rest of his time in Ann Arbor, which ended after the 2023-24 season. He joined Juwan Howard as head coach days after the discharge of Juwan.

McDaniel went to Kansa’s State and started 23 games with an average of 11.4 points, but only shot 26 percent compared to 3. The state of Kansas went 16-17 and missed the NCAA tournament.

The native Washington DC had some big games in the BIG 12, including successive 15, 24 and 22 points against Kansas, Arizona and BYU.

Another former point Guard in Michigan, Frankie Collins, moved from TCU to Vanderbilt, his fourth school in early April.
