Hyundai and Casi are driving car subscriptions into the German market

According to a press release from Casi, Hyundai Connected Mobility has expanded its partnership with fleet software platform provider Casi to launch the MOCEAN subscription service in Germany.

This move brings flexible, all-inclusive vehicle subscriptions to Europe’s largest automotive market and is aimed at both private consumers and businesses, particularly corporate fleets, which account for 58% of new car sales in Europe.

The MOCEAN platform, based on Casis technology, enables companies to manage their fleets flexibly with access to over 40 Hyundai models. The service, tailored to German medium-sized businesses, enables companies to adapt their fleets to changing business requirements. It is also aimed at freelancers and professionals with different vehicle requirements.

Germany’s interest in flexible mobility solutions, including electric vehicles, is in line with Hyundai’s strategy, the statement said. The German car subscription market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 33.5% through 2030. MOCEAN aims to meet this demand by offering scalable and sustainable fleet solutions.

Casi’s platform provides real-time fleet management tools covering vehicle usage, maintenance and expense tracking. The subscription model also reduces upfront costs and long-term commitments, addressing key pain points for enterprise customers. For consumers, MOCEAN offers a streamlined, paperless process with essential services such as maintenance, insurance and roadside assistance included in the subscription.

Liran Golan, Director of Mobility Services at Hyundai Connected Mobility, said:
“At MOCEAN Subscription, we are changing the way customers can experience mobility. By offering flexible and intuitive solutions, we simplify the customer journey and make it easier for people to access the vehicles they need, when they need them.”

The partnership with Casi also supports Hyundai’s focus on promoting electric and hybrid vehicles to new customer segments. “We are honored to partner with Hyundai Connected Mobility to scale the MOCEAN subscription and redefine what mobility can look like in the future,” said Hans Kristian Aas, CEO and co-founder of Casi.

Hyundai and Casi plan to expand the MOCEAN service to additional European markets in the coming months, the press release continues.
