Montana suffered a tough loss to Montana State in its final regular season game, but the team still made it into the FCS playoffs as the No. 14 seed.

The Grizzlies get another chance to keep their season alive by facing Tennessee State in the first round on Saturday, November 30th. It is the fourth straight season Montana has reached the FCS playoffs and the fifth in six years. The Grizzlies reached the championship game last year and lost to South Dakota State.

Coach Eddie George’s Tigers finished the regular season 9-3 with a three-game winning streak to secure a playoff spot. The Tigers have won seven of their last eight games and are on the rise at the right time.
