A British girl is fighting for her life after a traffic accident in Albania.

Pamela Mema, 18, was out celebrating her sister’s birthday party on November 22 when the horror accident occurred near the village of Belsh.

The girl, from north London, was immediately rushed to hospital and has been in a medically induced coma ever since.

Pamela’s friends and family, desperate to fly her back to the UK for urgent medical treatment, have set up a GoFundMe page to raise money.

The fundraiser states: “On November 22, 2024, our beautiful, intelligent and strong Pamela Mema was in a car accident in the village of Belsh, Albania while on her way to celebrate her sister’s 24th birthday.”

“Since the 22nd, Pamela has been fighting for her life in the hospitals of Albania.

“We now urgently need to get Pamela home to London so that she can receive the best medical care from the doctors we trust and with a rescue aircraft in our trust.”

“Pamela is only 18 years old and still has her whole life ahead of her. We would be very happy about any donation so that our Pam can come home and give her the best possible care.”

The fundraiser has so far raised £74,000.
