Here’s how to get an AR416 Monolith Assault Rifle at the start of Stalker 2

Players can find the AR416 “Monolith” assault rifle at a Journalist cache in the sphere In Stalkers 2. Sphere is a military outpost in the Small Zone region where Skiff faces off against Solder in the main mission “Beyond Seven Seals”. However, players must be careful when entering this facility as there are several soldiers guarding it, even after completing the said mission.

Take out the patrolling soldiers

After entering through the northwest IPSF outpost entrance, players will need to be wary of a few soldiers patrolling the outpost. It’s difficult to sneak past them as they seem to be able to spot Skif very easily.

If there is a confrontation, you will have to take out the soldiers first before trying to get to the journalist hideout as it is open, making Skif an easy target for soldiers.

Climb the ladder and open the cache

Once all soldiers are taken out, players will have some breathing room before another wave of soldiers appears. Quickly follow the left wall of the sphere until you spot an IPSF container. Behind this container is a rusted ladder that leads to the roof of a small hut.

After going up the stairs, players will discover the journalist stash further ahead. By opening the stash, players will receive the AR416 Monolith assault rifle and some ammunition. After grabbing the supply, you should quickly escape the sphere before another group of soldiers starts shooting at Skif.

How to upgrade the AR416 Monolith Assault Rifle

It’s a great assault rifle that Diode players should upgrade at Slag Heap in the Garbage region. When attempting to upgrade Lens in Zalissya, the message appears: “The technician cannot install this upgrade.” Another great thing about the A416 Monolith is that players can immediately use a holo-visor on it without having to worry about having to install a scope mount.
