A storm ends, another begins – Kion546

Salinas, California (Kion) – Showers end briefly – only briefly because the next weather system is hot for the first paragraphs! It will bring rain and mountain snow to the region overnight.

Air quality: good

** Frost advice **
… for the higher area and the southern valleys from Monterey and San Benito Counties from Thursday to 9 a.m. Friday.

*Temperatures of only 32 lead to frost formation.

*Cold conditions are sensitive populations such as unlikely people. Cold conditions can lead to a longer exposure to hypothermia.

Now take steps to protect delicate plants from the cold.

Overnight: The clouds are increasingly, mostly cloudy, with widespread light rain until the early morning of moderately difficult in the dawn. Expect another chaotic morning course. Lows become a touch cooler with a low until the mid -1940s on the coast, mainly 30s in the interior. Areas of the frost probably in the interior. Higher surveys are recorded additional snow showers/ accumulation.

Friday: mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Sometimes windy with heights in the 50s to low 60s. Snow possible over 2,500 feet in the morning, but in the afternoon rises to 4,000 feet.

Extended: May a few showers linger on Saturday morning, but the rest of the day will be dry and warmer, since a short comb is installed at high pressure. In fact, the weekend should be pretty good with seasonal temperatures, but it is booked by shower opportunities. Fortunately, the next round will probably hold back on Monday until after dark on Sunday before another wind and rain maker.

*Note: All warnings of the National Weather Service in Monterey are given italics at the top. Warnings can be processed for short or local clarification.
