The rosters were officially submitted yesterday but will not be announced until tomorrow. Finland and Sweden will be announced at 2:00 p.m., followed by Canada and the United States at 6:30 p.m. The reason for the delay is to allow broadcasters in Canada and the United States to prepare for their reveal show.

Nelson is expected to make the Team USA roster

With rosters now finalized, there are some reports of players who made the cut and others who didn’t, and according to TSN’s Chris Johnston, Brock Nelson may be heading to Montreal and Boston to help his country appear on the first leaderboard to represent. best tournament since the World Cup of Hockey 2016.

“It’s kind of an experience about young skills,” Johnston said on TSN Insider trading. “Vincent Trochek, Chris Kreider and Brock Nelson are all players we expect to make the Team USA team at the bottom of the forward line, and that comes at the expense of some of these talented young players.”

Two of those young players that Johnston expects Nelson to make the transition are Cole Caufield and Tage Thompson – two of the league’s best young talents. But when building a team, Bill Guerin and Team USA need to look at more than just scorers, as the more experienced names mentioned are capable of taking on larger roles and playing further down the lineup.

We’ll find out tomorrow night if Nelson will be officially called up to Team USA tomorrow, sparking another major interest for the Islanders during the NHL’s two-week break.
