According to reports, North Korean troops from Russia-Ukraine Front Line | Back Russia-Ukraine was news

According to reports, North Korean troops who were sent to Ukraine to support Russia invasion were sent.

The approximately 10,000 soldiers, Pyongyang, have not existed together with Russian armed forces on the front for several weeks, reported the South Korean Yonhap news agency on Tuesday. The report supports claims by Ukraine and the US media about the withdrawal of the troops, the arrival of which raised the fear that the war in Ukraine could escalate.

The South Korean National Intelligence Service (NIS) informed the AFP news agency that the North Korean units had stopped the combat operations in the Russian region of Kursk since mid-January.

“One reason for this may be the appearance of many victims, but the exact details are still being monitored,” said the espionage agency.

On January 11, 2025, Ukraine said that the investigators questioned two wounded North Korean soldiers after being captured in the Kursk region in Russia, and said they had made them available "undeniable evidence" These North Koreans fought for Moscow. A Ukrainian military analysis said on Friday that the North Korean soldiers had been withdrawn after severe losses.

Ukraine previously reported that it had conquered or killed numerous North Korean units in Kursk, where it launched a cross-border shock offensive in August.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy published the footage of surveys with what he said that he was captured North Korean prisoners.

In mid -January, the NIS estimated that around 300 North Korean soldiers were killed and another 2,700 soldiers were injured in the region.

North Korean use in Kursk, which neither Pyongyang nor Moscow have officially recognized, should strengthen the Russian army and help to drive away the troops of Ukraine. But almost six months later, Ukraine still holds considerable wastage.

Seoul previously announced that Pyongyang prepared an additional deployment due to the losses of his armed forces.

Kyiv and the West have convicted the participation of the North Korean troops as a great escalation in the three -year conflict since Russia initiated his full invasion of his neighbor, in which Pyongyang and Moscow have deepened the bonds.

Last year, Russian President Vladimir Putin made a rare visit to the nuclear north and signed an agreement with a mutual defense element.

In a New Year’s letter, the North Korean leader Kim Jong Un Putin welcomed and said that in 2025 the year would be “if the Russian army and people defeat neo -Nazism and won a great win”.

War from above

While the fights on the front in Kursk and East Ukraine continue, Moscow and Kyiv continue to wage war in heaven and start meals of drones and rockets.

A Russian rocket, which was fired on Izyum in the eastern Kharkiv region of Ukraine on Tuesday, killed five people, said civil servants.

Oleg Synegubov, governor of the broader Kharkiv region, which bounded to Russia, also said that 50 people had been injured in the Russian strike, including a 15-year-old girl.

“According to the first reports, the occupiers used a ballistic rocket,” Synegubov wrote on Tuesday on the telegram.

The strike aimed at the center of the city, which is around 40 kilometers from the front. Izyum was occupied for a few months at the beginning of the war before being recaptured by Ukraine.

However, the Russian armed forces have made profits in eastern Ukraine in the past few months due to superior troops and arms.

The North Korean troops in Kursk should help maintain this superiority.

Consideration

Ukraine observes Donald Trump’s return to the United States’ presidency nervously and fears that it could continue to fall back in the arms arms if he should cut Washington military support.

Trump, who has brought practically all US foreign aid into harmony, suggested on Tuesday overnight that he wants minerals for rare earth as a consideration for maintaining the offer of weapons and other support.

The US President claimed that Ukraine was ready to participate in the exchange and added that he wanted “compensation” from Ukraine for “almost USD 300 billion”.

The Kremlin was quick to jump into the reports, and a spokesman said that Trump’s words would be illustrated that the USA Kyiv would no longer support unconditionally.
