After a police chase, a car crashes into the River Forest dentist office

A car crashed into River Forest Dental Studio in the early morning hours of Dec. 4 after fleeing Riverside police.

Riverside police reported they stopped the vehicle for a traffic violation and noticed the driver was carrying a gun before speeding away. They last reported the car’s location near Harlem Avenue and I-290.

According to authorities, a Forest Park police officer saw the car and attempted to make a traffic stop near Des Plaines Avenue and Madison Street. The male driver sped away and crashed into the building on Lathrop Ave around 3:07 a.m. 344
