Aggies play their first true away game of the season on Sunday at Saint Mary’s

• Utah State closes 2024 with a three-game road trip, its first true road games of the season. The Aggies will be tested with perhaps their toughest games on the schedule, as all three away contests will be against top-60 NET teams. As the NET standings currently stand, Utah State will play four Quad 1 games moving forward – three of which are on this road trip.

• USU is 3-0 at home this year, despite all three games being played at neutral sites.

• The Aggies opened the year 10-1 for the third straight year after posting the best start to a season in program history at 10-0.

• Second-year guard from Utah State Mason Falslev was named Mountain West Player of the Week for the third time in the last four weeks after posting 27 points, nine rebounds, nine assists and three steals, a career high, in the team’s win over South Florida.

• Fifth-year guard Ian Martínez has scored double digits in every competition this year. He ranks first in the Mountain West in free throws made (66), first in free throw percentage (.917), third in scoring average (17.5), fifth in 3-pointers made (2nd). .3) and eighth in assist/turnover ratio (2.12) and 14th in assists (3.3).

• Falslev and Martinez are one of only two duos in the country each averaging at least 17 points and three assists per game. They are also one of only eight couples in the country to each average 17 or more points.

• Utah State is ranked No. 39 in the latest NET rankings and is the top-ranked team in the Mountain West.

• USU receives votes in both the AP Top 25 and USA Today Coaches polls.

• This will be the 13th all-time meeting between Utah State and Saint Mary’s, a hard-fought series that ended in a 6-6 tie. The Gaels have won two straight against USU, including a 60-58 win at Logan in their last meeting.

• Utah State is 93-47 (.664) against current WCC opponents.
