Alabama football among teams for NC State transfer Kevin Concepcion

While the transfer portal hasn’t officially opened yet, there are still plenty of names across college football who have actually already announced their intentions to get in when the window opens.

This group includes numerous players who are certainly being sought in the portal, including NC State wide receiver Kevin Concepcion.

Concepcion, who also recently signed up for the portal, also reportedly has a list of teams he is now expected to look at according to On3’s Pete Nakosincluding the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Concepcion, a transfer from NC State, was one of the ACC’s top wide receivers over the past two seasons, totaling 124 receptions for 1,299 yards and 16 touchdowns. Concepcion also managed 356 yards and two touchdowns on 60 attempts during that span and also saw time on special teams.

This season, Concepcion totaled 53 receptions for 460 yards and six touchdowns for an NC State team that went 6-6 in the regular season. Concepcion also threw for 36 yards and two scores on 19 attempts, as well as returning five punts for 45 yards.

Currently, Concepcion is the second-largest player in the transfer portal, according to 247Sports, behind only Alabama defensive lineman Jehiem Oatis.
