Head coach Kalen DeBoer’s first regular season as Alabama’s head coach is coming to an end as the team will face Auburn at home in the Iron Bowl. Here is the latest injury update for the Crimson Tide.

Deontae Lawson, linebacker — Lawson, one of the anchors of the Alabama defense, suffered a leg injury in the second quarter against Oklahoma the 24:3 defeat and didn’t return.

DeBoer then announced Monday that Lawson would have to miss the remainder of the season due to the injury, a major blow to the Crimson Tide.

“We are going to lose him for the season,” DeBoer said, adding that the team will “greatly miss” everything Lawson does on the field.

Defensive coordinator Kano wommack said Monday that linebacker Justin Jefferson will take Lawson’s spot and that green dot Responsibilities.

Judge Haynes runs back -Haynes played eight snaps and had three carries in the loss to Oklahoma, leaving fans wondering if he was dealing with an injury. DeBoer provided an update on Haynes’ status on Monday.

“A lot of guys work on things all season long, he’s certainly one of them,” DeBoer said. “But he’s going through the week of training trying to prepare as best he can to go out there and give us everything he’s got.”

Wednesday’s initial injury report did not include Haynes, making it seem like he would be ready for the Iron Bowl.

Cole Adams, wide receiver – The punt returner is out for the season after suffering a lower-body injury during the season 34-0 win over Missouri.

Ryan Williams took Adams’ spot against Oklahoma and was the return man for all of the Sooners’ punts.

Que Robinson, linebacker – The beginning “Wolf” and specialist pass rusher for the Crimson Tide is out for the season after suffering an upper body injury 42-13 win over LSU.

Qua Russaw replaced him and defensive lineman Jah-Marien Latham switched to “Wolf” against Oklahoma, giving the Alabama defense some more depth at the position.

“We had a few guys at that position and that was something coach Wommack told me to do, to step up at that position,” Latham said. “And me, being the person that I am, I’m going to do what’s best for the team.”

Keon Sabb, security – Sabb is out for the rest of the season due to his “lower extremity injury” during the season 24:17 loss to Tennessee.

Sabb’s replacement, Bray Hubbard, continued to perform well as he forced the Crimson Tide defense’s only turnover with a forced fumble against Oklahoma.
