Alabama high school football recruits

The AHSAA Super 7 Championships begin this week by showcasing some of the top college football recruits in the country.

The Class 7A and 6A games feature the most FBS and Power Four recruits, but the other five games feature notable prospects worth knowing before they head to college.

Here’s a look at all the Super 7 Championship players with offers from FBS programs.

Class 7A

Daylyn Upshaw, Central Phenix City: The three-star wide receiver comes from Miami (Florida). He is listed at 5-foot-11.5 and 180 pounds and is the No. 21 player in Alabama in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Mal Waldrep, Central Phenix City: The three-star offensive tackle is committed to play at Alabama. The 247Sports Composite lists him at 6-5, 320 pounds and as the No. 20 prospect in Alabama in the 2025 class.

Makel Green, Central Phenix City: The three-star lead at 6-2 and 205 pounds goes to Troy. He is the No. 39 player in Alabama in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Monterrius Echols, Central Phenix City: The 6-foot, 179-pound cornerback is a Georgia State player. He is considered the No. 81 prospect in Alabama in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Tristan Lyles, Central Phenix City: The three-star prospect has not yet been confirmed, but is ranked as the No. 16 player in Alabama in the 2026 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. He has offers from Auburn, Colorado and Arkansas, among others.

Donovan Crow, Central Phenix City: The 5-11, 210-pound running back is the No. 32 player in Alabama in the 2026 class according to 247Sports. He holds offers from Eastern Kentucky and Minnesota.

Anquon Fegans, Thompson: The 6-1, 180-pound four-star safety is committed to Auburn. He is the third-best prospect in Alabama in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Jared Smith, Thompson: The five-star edge rusher is Alabama’s second-best prospect in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. He’s 6-6.5, weighs 235 pounds and is a native of Auburn.

John Alan McGuire, Thompson: The three-star punter is a football player from Auburn. He is listed at 6-2, 205 pounds and is the No. 85 player in Alabama’s 2025 class, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Nikolas Alston, Thompson: The 6-3, 260-pound defensive lineman is committed to Tulane. He is considered the No. 40 prospect in Alabama in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Class 6A

Vodney Cleveland, Parker: The Alabama native is the top prospect among the Class of 2026 as a four-star recruit. He is the third-best player in Alabama and No. 43 nationally.

Na’eem Offord, Parker: The 6-1, 185-pound cornerback is a five-star prospect and is the No. 12 player in the Class of 2025. He is the top-ranked prospect in the state and the second-ranked cornerback in his class and is committed to Ohio State.

Jourdin Crawford, Parker: Crawford is the eighth-ranked player in Alabama in the Class of 2025 and the 100th-ranked player nationally. The defensive lineman committed to Auburn as a four-star recruit.

KJ Lacey, Saraland: The four-star quarterback is committed to Texas. He is the 14th player in the 2025 class from Alabama. He is the 233rd ranked player and 18th ranked QB nationally.

Antonio Coleman, Saraland: The other four-star defensive lineman who will be in Class 6A play. Coleman also projects Auburn as the 10th best player in the state and 143rd in the country in the 2025 class.

Dillon Alfred, Saraland: Alfred is a 5-11, 175-pound wide receiver who committed to Ole Miss. He is a three-star prospect and the No. 23 player in the state in the 2025 class.

Timothy Merritt, Parker: The 6-2, 180-pound three-star cornerback is committed to Miami (Florida) in the 2025 class. He is the 30th ranked player in the state and 614th nationally.

Caleb Smith, Parker: The Washington player is the 38th ranked player in the state. Smith is a 6-4, 265-pound edge rusher.

Santae McWilliams Jr, Saraland: The three-star running back holds 19 offers, most notably from Michigan, Arkansas, Florida State and Georgia Tech. He is the 100th player in the state of Alabama for the 2025 class.

DeShawn Spencer, Saraland: Spencer is a three-star running back in the class of 2025. The No. 28 player in the state holds offers from Auburn, Arkansas, Georgia Tech and others.

Kentrell Davis, Parker: Davis is a three-star wide receiver who stands 6-3 and weighs 170 pounds. He has offers from Kentucky, Texas A&M and Washington, among others. He is the No. 22 prospect in Alabama for the class of 2026.

Class 5A

Josh Griffin, Montgomery Catholic: The 6-foot, 190-pound running back holds offers from Appalachian State, Liberty and North Alabama. He is considered the No. 71 prospect in Alabama in the 2025 class, according to 247Sports.

Wilson Hodges, Catholic from Montgomery: The 6-4, 220-pound tight end is a Middle Tennessee State commit. He is the No. 78 prospect out of Alabama in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Cayden Dees, a Catholic from Montgomery: The three-star interior defender has offers from Appalachian State, Arkansas State and Liberty. He is considered the No. 27 prospect in Alabama in the 2026 class, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Daniel Burns, Montgomery Catholic: The three-star interior offensive lineman holds offers from Kentucky, Liberty and West Virginia. He is the No. 30 prospect in Alabama’s 2026 class, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Ba’Roc Willis, Moody: The four-star edge rusher is a 2026 Alabama football commitment. He is listed at 6-3, 220 pounds by the 247Sports Composite and is listed as the No. 4 prospect in Alabama’s 2026 class.

Sidney Walton, Moody: The three-star safety is a Tennessee football commitment. He’s 6-1, 187 pounds and is ranked as the No. 27 player in the 2025 class at Alabama, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Charlie Johnston, Moody: The three-star quarterback is a Georgia Southern commit. The 247Sports Composite lists him at 6-5, 200 pounds and as the No. 43 prospect in Alabama in the 2025 class.

Class 4A

Landon Duckworth, Jackson: The four-star quarterback is not yet committed but has offers from South Carolina, Oregon and Arkansas. He is Alabama’s eighth overall prospect in the 2026 class, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Jamarion Gordon, Jackson: Gordon is a three-star safety in the Class of 2026. The No. 15 prospect in Alabama has 23 offers, including Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU and Oregon, as well as numerous other Power 4 schools.

Ezavier Crowell, Jackson: Crowell is the No. 1 prospect in Alabama and No. 6 nationally for the class of 2027. His 22 offers include Alabama, Auburn, Ohio State, Georgia and others.

Keeyun Chapman, Jackson: Chapman is a four-star recruit in the class of 2026. He has offers from Arkansas, Florida State and South Carolina, among others.

Class 3A

Cannon Pigg, Mars Hill Bible: The 6-4, 245-pound tight end is listed as a three-star by 247Sports and is considered the No. 55 prospect in Alabama in the 2025 class. He holds offers from Arkansas State, Jacksonville State and Kentucky.

Tanner Caudle, Mars Hill Bible: The 6-2, 175-pound safety is a North Alabama football commitment. He is considered the No. 108 prospect in Alabama according to 247Sports.

Class 2A

Preston Lancaster, Tuscaloosa Academy: The 6-0, 210-pound quarterback leads the state in passing yards. He has offers from Murray State, Millsaps College and others.
