Alex Bregman enjoys the Fenway Park debut with Boston Red Sox “Rocking”

Boston – It is not surprising that Alex Bregman made himself at home in Fenway Park.

Bregman pushed the baseball stadium as a visitor – 325 with a 1.013 surgery as a member of the Astros – and opened where he stopped in his Red Sox debut in Fenway. Bregman put an RBI double double in his first bat.

“The place rocked,” said Bregman after a 13:9 win against the cardinals. “I had a lot of fun.”

Bregman, a villain for his first nine seasons in Boston, received loud ovations during the introduction of players and after his early doubles.

“It was really cool,” said Bregman. “If you play here, you know how much of a HomeBiel -advantage the Red Sox have because of your fans. If you are now playing here for this organization, it’s a lot of fun and I don’t take it for granted. It is an honor to be here and I look forward to continuing to compete.”

What does Bregman want to be known in Boston for?

“Only someone who is ready to play every day every day,” replied Bregman. “Someone who is prepared plays hard. Loves the game. Loves his teammates. Wants to come and win and win.”

Alex Cora knew that Bregman would actually be ready, but began to show the third Baseman not to show the baseball stadium too early.

“I actually wrote him an SMS last night. I said:” I don’t dive at 6:00 a.m., please “because I know that he is so excited,” cracked Cora.

Bregman said that he waited until 8:00 or 8:30 a.m. to see – just six hours before the first field – but Cora’s prediction of his unrest was just right.

“I couldn’t sleep a little last night,” said Bregman. “I don’t know if it was just the trip or maybe the excitement, but hopefully go home and sleep well tonight.”
