ANNOUNCEMENT OF INTENTION TO DIVERT OR EXPLOIT THE PUBLIC WATERS OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI FOR BENEFICIAL USE

Notice is hereby given that on NOVEMBER 8, 2024, TERRY HUGHES, 1496 N. THEOBALD STREET, GREENVILLE, MS 38701, filed applications for permit(s) to divert or withdraw the public water of the State of Mississippi. for the beneficial use for IRRIGATION purposes from the alluvium of the Mississippi River, subject to existing rights, the following amount(s) of water. Specified locations: Application no. GW-53075, 75 Acres, WASHINGTON County, Location: SE 1/4 of NW 1/4 SEC 30 T 19N R 09W. Any person, corporation, association or corporation who believes that the granting of the above application(s) actually impairs their rights to use the waters of this spring may protest in writing to the Permit Board of the State of Mississippi, c/ o Chris Hawkins, PO Box 2309, Jackson, Mississippi 39225, stating all reasons why said application(s) should not be approved. If no protest is made, approval(s) will be granted ten days after the publication date. In the event of a protest, applications will be reviewed for review by the State of Mississippi Permit Board at its office at 515 East Amite Street, Jackson, Mississippi 39201 on or after DECEMBER 10, 2024.
