Arrest made in Federal Hill murder of Pasadena teen

Three arrests have been made in the fatal shooting of a Pasadena teenager in Federal Hill.

According to Baltimore police, Alexis Cancel-Soto, 20, Daeshaun Clark, 27, and Devontaye Richardson, 28, are charged with the murder of 19-year-old Cameran Holt.

Holt was shot on October 27 while sitting in her car parked on Hamburger Weststrasse.

Family and a witness said she was caught in the crossfire after an argument between two men escalated into a shootout.

Surveillance video recorded about two dozen shots fired.

Holt remained paralyzed and on life support for about a week and a half before she succumbed to her injuries on November 7.

Family and friends gathered for a vigil last week to honor the teenager.

According to court records, Cancel-Soto was on probation for a previous felony in Anne Arundel County at the time of the shooting.

The records show that Cancel-Soto was previously charged in October 2023 with theft, unlawful taking of a vehicle, and misdemeanor and vagrancy.

Cancel-Soto was sentenced to 18 months of probation in February 2024, outcome documents show.

On November 18, an arrest warrant was issued for Holt’s murder, and an additional arrest warrant was subsequently issued for Cancel-Soto for violating his probation.

Cancel-Soto has a bond hearing scheduled for Nov. 27.
