Attack: Doug Gottlieb dared to question Adam Schefter’s report, Schefter reminds him that Green Bay is in last place on the horizon and is on a seven-game losing streak

Overall, this seems like a fairly normal Schefter tweet, right? A random report that Mike Vick is interested in becoming the head coach at Sacramento State, with a number of numbers in play. Cool, I mean we all know Mike Vick. I have no idea if it will happen or work out, but that’s not what this blog is about. As you can see, this tweet led to a dispute between the media and coaches. Maybe a media/media battle. For Doug Gottlieb, it just depends on the time of day, because he responded like this:

Directly to the agent line. Doug doesn’t have time to argue about anything else in his December, it’s jam-packed:

However, Adam Schefter does not follow this calendar. This is a man who will (supposedly) break news right after sex. So he saw Doug’s tweet and decided enough was enough:

Wait, no. Not the one with a lot more facts and figures. This one:

SCHEFTY BOMB. Do you think you can just insult his sources? Absolutely not. And if you do that, you better not be the first-year head coach of a 2-5 Green Bay team. Adam Schefter won’t waste time calling the standings and noting the losing streak. I don’t know when Schefter got so defensive, but Doug Gottlieb just learned his lesson here. Now you can’t lose, Schter will stay in the Horizon League all year long, just waiting to strike. This man lives on his phone and never misses an opportunity to comment again. Him staying away from social media is a great thing, exactly what I expect from Schefter.
