Auburn tournament projections last after Florida, but how long?

A rough defeat over the weekend could not swing the forecasts of Auburn Tigers tournament.

Both the ESPN and the bleacher report are still classified in their updated bracketology for the week as a top basketball team in the country.

According to ESPN, the tiger stay number 1 in the South (Atlanta) region and still start in Lexington, Ky. You are expected to be the winner of the first four matchup between American and Little Rock (Ark.). American is the automatic qualification game from the Patriot League and Little Rock is the automatic qualification game of the Ohio Valley Conference.

The projection of bleacher report is identical.

Since the projection came out on Tuesday morning, it does not include Auburn’s Stopcing from Vanderbilt. This applies to the projections of the next week together with the upcoming top Two match against Alabama.

It will be the first time that this will be a TOP-Two-Matchup.

If Auburn’s spot were not a lock, a victory in this matchup would be what it takes to lock it. Even if you lose, if you are a close game and play well, you should have a No. 1 seeds the rest of the way.

However, if the tigers are crushed again as they did against Florida, cracks could begin to show. This could open the doors for Florida, Alabama and Duke to drive everyone for the top position.

So this weekend will determine whether this trend will continue. The Tiger take over the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa on Saturday. Tip off is planned for 3 p.m. CST and is broadcast on ESPN.
