Auburn’s Hugh Freeze had a message for Alabama’s Jalen Milroe after the Iron Bowl

Hugh Freeze shared a moment with Jalen Milroe shortly after Alabama beat Auburn in the Iron Bowl at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday.

The moment was captured by Patrick Greenfield of AL.com.

“I hope you’re gone,” the Auburn coach said. “I’ve had enough of you.”

Truer words may never have been spoken.

Milroe passed for 256 yards and ran for 104 yards and three touchdowns to lead No. 13 Alabama. Freeze is now 0-2 against Milroe in the Iron Bowl.

Last season, it was Milroe who hit Isaiah Bond for a last-minute touchdown on fourth-and-31 to beat Auburn 27-24 on Saturday in what is now known as the Gravedigger.

Milroe threw for 259 yards and two scores and then ran for 107 rushing yards.

Freeze has seen the Alabama quarterback throw for 515 yards, run for 211 yards and score five touchdowns in two games against the Tigers.

Now Milroe and Alabama await word from the College Football Playoff committee on whether the Tide have done enough to secure a spot in the CFP.

SEC Network analyst Paul Finebaum, SEC Network analyst Roman Harper and Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin all weighed in on where they think Alabama stands in the pecking order.
