Austin Reaves makes Laker’s story against warriors

On Thursday evening, the Golden State Warriors met in a game that did not disappoint Los Angeles Lakers. Surprisingly, it was not LeBron James or Luka Doncic who stole the show for the Lakers, but Austin Reaves.

Reaves put 31 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists at 50% shooting from the field. He made a blasty 9/16 three -point, with a majority coming in the fourth quarter. The performance of Deep was so good that he actually wrote history.

According to the Lakers, Reaves moved to second place in the history of Lakers for three -points that were made in a single season. He exceeded both Nick van Exel and Kobe Bryant on the list.

When the statistics were originally published, Reaves only had five threes against the warriors, but he ended the night with nine of them and jumped to second place.

Reaves has destroyed all expectations that NBA fans had from them. In 67 games this season, Reaves scored an average of 19.9 points, 5.9 assists and 4.5 rebounds on 46/36/88 shooting off the field.

In order for the Lakers to make real noises in the NBA playoffs, reaves like this must consistently carry out and at the same time avoid moving to the defensive end. With the way things look like, it seems as if Reaves is able to do so.
