Barbies new LeBron James Doll is full of Kenergy

Mattel surprised sports fans by announcing that LeBron James was selected as part of a brand new series: The Barbie Signature Kenbassador’s collection.

Not only the Kenbassador born in Akron, Ohio, but he is also the first male athlete to be recognized as a Ken doll. James worked closely with Mattel to bring the doll to life and create a figure that could impress the fans with their accuracy.

The doll is also part of a greater collaboration with the LeBron James Family Foundation, an organization of James who help families in his hometown.

“I understand how important it is for young people to have positive numbers that you can see,” said James in an explanation. “That is why it is an honor to work with Barbie to publish the Lebron James Kenbassadors’ doll.”

The LeBron James Doll captures his characteristic style and shows elements that the fans will immediately recognize how his “I promise” band and his legendary fanny pack.

In addition to the Fanny Pack and Brand, the doll has a “We Are Family” shirt with regard to the LeBron James Family Foundation, sunglasses, Nike Terminator High -Sneakers, Beats headphones, a clock and university jacket. The latter even contains patches that indicate various milestones in the life of the athlete, including a 23 patch, a “We Are Family” patch and an Ohio patch.

According to Mattel, the team worked closely with James to personalize the doll’s outfit. Details such as James’ beard, tattoos, facial expression and even its size were taken into account during the creation of the doll. It stands a full centimeter larger than a standard -da doll with a larger packaging.

When the Barbie Instagram account released the doll, the fans flooded the comments immediately that the figure recognized: “Looks like him! Before I read the caption, how I wanted it, LeBron wrote a commentator.

It seems that fans with Mattel’s choice for the first Kenbassador couldn’t be happier. A commentator said: “Who made this decision? You need an increase.”

The meaning behind the doll

The company is of great importance to the LeBron James Family Foundation, which supports families by providing education, living space, healthcare and vocational training.

It represents reality that a child can make a difference from a little,” said Michele Campbell, managing director of the LeBron James Family Foundation. “We are incredibly honored to work with Barbie to further inspire the next generation and to celebrate Lebron’s unshakable commitment to his community by giving Lebron James Kenbassadors.”

Barbie donates to the foundation to support his continued efforts to serve the families of James’ hometown. The toy company also plans to donate a copy of the Laker Star children’s book, I’m more thanTo save the children for every barbie signature, LeBron James Kenbassador Puppe, which was sold at Target, both online and in the shop between 14 and 19 April.

The LeBron James Kenbassador doll will be available on Monday, April 14th, from large retailers for 75 US dollars.
