Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany is happy about the Club World Championship.

“The closer we get to the tournament, the more the anticipation builds up. It is an exciting season with the new formats of the Champions League and the World Cup. Every trophy is important at Bayern. “It is always difficult to imagine the entire competition when it is the first time, but if I can give an advantage for it, it is a competition game against Boca juniors in the context of a larger competition.

“It is exciting to see that some of the best fan communities in the world, our and their. And some of the most traditionally successful clubs in the world meet against each other. I think there will be a lot of anticipation in this game. Of course I hope that the Bayern victories and there will be nice moments for our fans.”

In addition to the fans of some opposing teams, Kompany strives to play in front of the fans in the USA.

“Bavaria has a great tradition to get to know their fans. There is nothing more tangible than an official competition game. It is a great opportunity to demonstrate the club not only our fans, but also to the people who could become future fans. I have no doubt that there will be no shortage of passion for this tournament.” I’m looking forward to it, “said Kompany.

During each of his previous tours through the United States, Bayern Munich actually organized numerous fan events, including meet-and-greets. Certainly there will be many chances of fan commitment again this summer.
