Bergen County is selling Santa hats to help neighbors in need. How to donate

Westwood residents can help neighbors in need this year simply by purchasing a Santa hat.

Westwood Cares, a nonprofit that helps residents who don’t qualify for government assistance, has launched its annual holiday drive to raise money for the group’s services. Anyone who would like to help can make a monetary donation this week. In return, you will receive a Santa hat to proudly wear in the county’s Home for the Holidays parade on Saturday, December 7th.

Hats can be purchased on Givebutter, a fundraising platform, at Givebutter.com/ocA9PK. According to Westwood Cares’ Facebook page, one hat costs $15 while two costs $25.

Those who prefer to purchase or donate on Venmo can send money to @WestwoodNJCares.
